MICHELIN PILOT ROAD 3 Motorcycle tire
The Michelin Pilot Road 3 is the next development in the top of the popular and often awarded Pilot Road 2 tire with improved wet grip compared to its predecessor.
Better wet grip is achieved with the new Michelin XST lamination.
Water leaves the tire along the sipes, which improves the tire's grip on the wet road surface.
Pilot Road 3 tires have identical dry keel grip properties to Pilot Road 2.
In the German Dekra measurements, the tire wear resistance of the Pilot Road 3 was 4% better than that of the Pilot Road 2.
Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires use the 2CT technology already familiar from older models, where the tire shoulder areas are made of a softer rubber compound.
Michelin is the only manufacturer to use 2CT technology in the front tires as well.
