Alpinestars S-M5 cross helmet new for 2021
The outer shell of the Alpinestars S-M5 cross helmet is made of highly impact-resistant thermoformed polycarbonate with a density optimized in different parts of the helmet. The size of the outer shell also varies between helmets of different sizes, thus providing safe protection in all sizes.
The SM-5 helmet uses several solutions from the Alpinestar S-M8 and S-M10 models. It features the same patented VRS magazine removal system, which reduces the inconvenience and neck injuries in the event of a crash. The A-head adjustment of the interior is also familiar from the big sister models and allows for an individual fit.
The surface between the Alpinestars S-M5 EPS's inner shell and interior is designed to reduce head and brain forces, and the collar design reduces clavicle injuries.
